BLP present in Conapdis’ Guide

December, 2017

The 10th Objective of the commitments assumed by the United Nations for sustainable development establishes the importance of reducing inequality in and among countries. As part of our sustainability actions, BLP, alongside the Yo Puedo ¿y Vos? Foundation, have developed actions and programs for work inclusion of people with disabilities, and with this, make a difference in establishing equal opportunities for all.

This week, Irene Aguilar, Director of BLP’s Sustainable Management Program, participated in the presentation of the Guide on Correct Practices for Work Inclusion of People with Disabilities in Private Companies of Costa Rica. This guide is conceived through the effort of the National Council for People with Disability, with the purpose of identifying, systematizing, and sharing successful experiences in the formation and work inclusion of people with disabilities. The guide includes the policy and practices developed by BLP on this topic, as well as those of other companies and institutions. It’s an honor for BLP to participate in this initiative.
