In accordance with Decree 12-2020 of the Guatemala Congress, effective as of April 2, 2020, all administrative deadlines were suspended for a period of three months. However, the applicant could file documents before the expiration of the three months.

Honduras

Status of Trademark Office (TMO)

Due to the closing of the Trademark Office, the filing of new trademark applications has been electronically enabled as of April 27. Likewise, as of May 4, it is possible to file trademark renewal applications in the electronic web page of the TMO. The renewal applications that can be filed are for the expired registrations during the period of closure of the TMO (since March 16) and for all trademark registrations that are close to expire.
The Office will enable all its services until further notice.

No Decree has been issued, but due to force majeure and the curfew, it is not possible to comply with administrative and judicial deadlines, therefore, all closing days of the Trademark Office will be taken as non-working days.
