Alejandro is a Director in BLP’s San José office, Costa Rica. He specializes in the practice areas of Dispute Resolution and Banking & Finance.

During his more than 12 years of professional experience, Alejandro has gained extensive knowledge in the practice of Dispute Resolution, in judicial as well as arbitration proceedings in civil, commercial and banking matters. He also has significant experience in contractual and extra-contractual disputes.

He has been a representative of renowned financial institutions in various legal processes and in representing the defense of economic crimes. He has experience advising in the regulatory field for financial institutions in risk management, prevention of capital legitimation, and corporate governance.

After a brief stint at Ernst and Young, followed by nine years as an associate at the firm of Gómez & Galindo, Alejandro joined the BLP team as an associate in 2016.
